Continued Medical Collaboration Benefits the Community of Cabois
During a recent trip, Project Nourish team member Paul coordinated with the administration at Jean Jaques Dessalines Community School in Cabois, Haiti and a medical team from Shiloh Blessing Center in Gressiers, Haiti to offer free medical treatment to residents of Cabois and nearby communities.
The free clinic was held in July at Jean Jacques Dessalines Community School. The team examined and treated about 60 individuals for issues including poor vision, indigestion, infected wounds, nutrient deficiencies, skin infections, and sprains.
The team from Shiloh Blessing Center has been a blessing to the PN volunteers and to the community in Cabois. They have shown themselves to be hardworking, knowledgeable, compassionate, resolute and a lot of fun to be around. We are currently planning our next project together and hope to continue our partnership for years to come.
