Project Nourish operates a health clinic in Cabois, Haiti, as part of our medical program. This initiative involves partnering with Haitian doctors and nurses to offer weekly clinic hours, ensuring consistent access to vital healthcare services in a remote area where such resources are scarce. Our clinic provides essential medical care, including examinations, treatments, and health education, targeting a wide range of common issues faced by the community, such as nutrient deficiencies, infections, poor vision, indigestion, infected wounds, skin conditions, and minor injuries like sprains. By offering subsidized or free services to children, youth, and adults who otherwise lack basic healthcare options, this program aims to address the high levels of food insecurity, while promoting preventive measures and overall well-being. Established initially as an outreach from the local school, we have expanded to a permenant building that continues to expand over time. This clinic represents a key effort in realizing our vision of a healthier world free from poverty, where families can thrive through nourished spirits, souls, and bodies. Ongoing collaborations with the community and local organizations help extend our reach to beyond Cabois and to surrounding areas, fostering sustainable improvements in public health.
